Now, if you ask us this Geico commercial says it all, but check out some of our favorite stupid things people say in 10 popular movies.

CelebNMovies247.com loves monster movies, scary movies, thrillers and so on, but let’s be real people, some of the things people say are just stupid.

Now, we have seen lots of movies, but we have to admit, we are guilty of a few of the stupid things said.

Here is the 10 Dumb Horror Movie Stereotypes in 10 Popular Horror Movies List below:

10. Eric Reading from the book of the dead in The Evil Dead remake.

Probably the dumbest of all is this guy. For some reason, people like him are fascinated by the demonic, so they pay the price for their curiosity. Unleashing evil upon you and your friends is basically dumb. Here is what happens when curiosity killed the cat.

9. I’m coming back!

This scene from Cabin In The Woods is genius but at the same time one of those moments when you the “so-called” says something stupid because you know he is going to die. Curt (Chris Hemsworth) goes out in fashion with this stupid thing said and did. Yes, Curt did both of our stupid things in a last-second valiant effort.

8. Make dumb choices, answer phone calls from blocked numbers and trip over everyting possible.

The best example of what NOT to do is all here in Scary Movie, which makes fun of the film Scream.

7. Taking a prank too is NEVER a good thing, especially when you’re dealing with a bitchy sorority click.

In Sorority Row, these sisters take a practical joke way too far and, yes, someone dies.

6. I’ll be right back.

Bottom line you will never be right back.

5. Going into dark places when you don’t have to.

In Lights Out, the killer is confined to the dark, so like all dumb victims, they are constantly in the dark. If you learn this, then why don’t you turn on every light possible, get a generator for back up and stay in a well-lit area? These stupid people apparently don’t get it and this is why they get got.

4. Why are you doing this to us?

It’s obvious, they killer wants to kill you.

3. Investigate an abandoned house, basement, or hideout where you know a killer may be lurking.

In Jeepers Creepers, Darry’s (Justin Long) curiosity gets the better of him. You have to be dumb as rocks to go investigate a pipe that leads to darkness, especially when the place looks like people have been murdered there.

2. Does anybody know what that is?

This is probably the most insulting of them all it comes from Kong: Skull Island. It is obvious that it is a giant Gorilla, but apparently, nobody in the cast was smart enough to say, “is that a giant Gorilla?” Instead, we hear “What is that thing?” It’s sad that the writers thought all moviegoers were dumb.

Trusting a complete stranger and then following them to an abandoned Church.

Now Truth or Dare is probably one of the better horror films of 2018, especially the ending which is superb. We highly recommend seeing this movie, but we have to admit the college friends are dumb to follow their friend. Here is why below:
