Find out what we are talking about on the flip when it comes to 50 Cent joining the cast of the new Predator on the flip…
Jackson, aka 50 Cent is telling people that he’s probably going to star in the Predator followup, even if it is a little premature.
In fact, we’ve heard that Black is having lunch with Arnold Schwarzenegger, potentially to reprise his role as Dutch.
Jackson told Sirius XM’s Shade 45:
“I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I’ll do Predator.”
Then in a second interview, Fiddy confirms to 99 Jamz UnCensored:
“I’m working on some new projects. You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.”
Jackson already has a relationship with Schwarzenegger as he co-starred in Escape Plan with Sylvester Stallone.
Producer John Davis recently exclaimed that the next Predator would reinvent the franchise, while we’ve been told by insiders that it’s a direct sequel to John McTiernan’s 1987 Predator. Most recently, Black stated that The Predator will be an expensive “spectacle”!
If this pans out to be true, we think these are the type of roles that 50 Cent should be pursuing in film. High action, lots of grit and minimal lines. Just raw non verbal scenes to really make him shine on-screen.
We’ve already seen Danny Glover in Predators 2, Carl Weathers (Dillon) and Bill Duke (Max) in the original, but Curtis Jackson is gunning for the lead role of Dutch, which has us scratching out heads, but back then Schwarzenegger wasn’t much of an actor. He was just a hunky guy that was great in action films and minimal lines, so yeah we could see it working.
But do you see 50 Cent as a lead? We see Derek Luke, The Rock, even though he’s over saturated in movies, or Jason Momoa. As for the other roles we’d love to see Omari Hardwick, Omar Sy and O’Shea Jackson Jr. in the 2018 Predator movie.
We will keep you posted….
