In a couple days Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment will unveil their full legnth trailer for Blade Runner 2049, but for this weekend we get a disturbingly exciting trailer to get us all hooked.

Blade Runner 2049 Disturbingly Exciting Trailer Has Us Locked In will have the highly anticipated sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1980s sci-fi classic which is directed by Arrival and Sicario filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.

Blade Runner 2049 takes place 30 years after the events of the first film. Ryan Gosling stars as a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, who unearths a secret that leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, which has Harrison Ford reprising the role. Villeneuve reteams with frequent cinematographer Roger Deakins for this sprawling sci-fi epic, while Ridley Scott produces. Blade Runner scribe Hampton Fancher and American Gods co-creator/Logan co-writer Michael Green penned the screenplay.

This trailer teaser is short, but has some intense jaw dropping visuals that will have you stunned.

The film also stars Robin Wright, Barkhad Abdi, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, and Jared Leto. Blade Runner 2049 opens in theaters on October 6th.


Meanwhile, wrestler-turned-actor Bautista isn’t afraid to make some bold claims ahead of the film’s release. Dave Batista had this to say to ABS CBN News:

“I think it’s going to be – and this is hard to say because I know I’m going to get some grief for this – I think it’s going to be better than the first film. And I’m saying that because I think the script is better, it’s deeper. I think it’s a better story, I think it’s told in a better way, and I think it just answers a lot of questions. It’s going to be great.”

He adds:

“Visually, you are stepping back into that world. You’re going to be reintroduced to Deckard. The cast is absolutely amazing and I can tell you the script is super deep and really beautiful.”
