This one is special. My King Chad tribute is now on a wall on display at Downtown Disney. ? It is a full circle moment for me: my final two projects as a Disney Imagineer last summer were working on the Children’s Hospital project and the Avengers Campus. To millions of kids, T’Challa was a legend larger than life, and there was no one more worthy to fill those shoes than Chadwick Boseman. I’m so thankful to be able to honor Chadwick’s life and purpose in this way. I am grateful to the Disney family for being so supportive of my journey as an artist. @waltdisneyimagineering @disney @marvelstudios @disneyland ?? #LongLiveTheKing #KingChad #WakandaForever #Phambili #DowntownDisney #BlackPanther #ChadwickBoseman #RIPChadwick #WDI

CelebnMovies247.com reports that Chadwick Boseman no doubt had a very long and exciting career ahead of him, but his career ended after he lost his battle to colon cancer.

Anaheim’s Downtown Disney has unveiled an inspirational and gorgeous mural of Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther where he will continue to inspire children from around the world.

This gorgeous piece of work comes courtesy of concept artist and former Disney Imagineer Nikkolas Smith, who shared the following in the inscription:

As a former Disney Imagineer, I had the honor of working on a major children’s hospital initiative and Avengers Campus as my final two assignments. Seeing Chadwick’s heart for people in-person, and later discovering his courageous battle with cancer, I was inspired to create this tribute to honor his life and legacy. To us, he was and will always be T’Challa. Long Live The King.

Chadwick Boseman passed away on August 28th at the age of 43 after a private, four-year battle with colon cancer. Best known for his role as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor had led a very accomplished career, starring in many, many films, including several critically acclaimed biopics that had him bringing to life important figures such as Thurgood Marshall, James Brown and Jackie Robinson.

His death rocked the world, leaving many feeling empty and broken.

Before his passing, Boseman who kept his illness a secret from the folks at Marvel and Disney was confident he’d get better. He was even planning to begin preparing for Black Panther 2 this month. Things didn’t go as he planned.

Though he may be gone, it’s very clear that Chadwick Boseman has not been forgotten about in the slightest and his presence is still being felt everywhere.

The actor touched the lives of so many people during his short time on this earth.

He will continue to do so as a Hollywood legend, like James Dean.
