Read on and find out what we just heard about the Darth Vader castle possibly being revisited in the current Star Wars trilogy….

Darth Vader Castle Possibly Revisited In Star Wars Trilogy

CelebNMovies247.com has learned via a reliable source that Mustafar, the planet on which Anakin Skywalker lost his limbs in a fight with Obi-Wan Kenobi in Revenge of the Sith, may be revisited.

This is exciting news!

The planet was home to the most notorious sith to ever rule in the Star Wars Universe. Darth Vader‘s grandson, Kylo Ren has a dark bond to his grandfather. He basically wants to be him, so in a desperate attempt there are theories swirling that a downtrodden Kylo Ren may visits Mustafar in The Last Jedi and scours Darth Vader’s castle, searching for anything that will help him further embrace the dark side. NOTE: this is all speculation, but oh, its so juicy and good, right?

Darth Vader Castle Details:

However, Lucasfilm VP and Executive Creative Director Doug Chiang seems to agree. In a recent interview with Uproxx [via SlashFilms], he explains the history of the castle and hints that we’ll see it again in a new movie:

“It’s interesting, we did a lot of history exploration. Why did Vader build his castle here? Why does it look the way it does? Why does he even come here? For us, it was really figuring out that Vader built his castle on an existing structure, which was this ancient lava dam. And he built it here for a very specific reason. It was to come back here to meditate, to rejuvenate, to reconnect with himself. And it became a very spiritual place, and it was all centered around his bacta tank. And that’s where the form language all built around there. And we’ve done quite a bit of exploration of what’s on the inside of it as well, and hopefully that’ll be seen in some other film.”

We wonder how Mustafar will look 30-years later, if Kylo Ren does indeed visit his grandfathers castle in Star Wars: The Last Jedi? Could it be the layer of the Emperor now? Is that where they had Kylo Ren flown off too after the Death Planet exploded?

There are talks of speculation that the planet itself generates a form of power for those who can tap into the dark side of the Force, perhaps Kylo will get his dark powers there? Fun fact: Mustafar is also home to native creatures known as “lava fleas,” according to Wookieepedia.
