While Spotlight ended up being the big winner at the Spirit Awards last night, Fifty Shades of Grey Dominates At Razzies 2016, leading the most wins for worst movies of 2015!!!
CelebNMovies247.com has the FULL LIST of winners from the the 36th annual Razzies awards on the flip…
So who took home some of the big wins besides the cast and filmmakers of “Fifty Shades of Grey” tying down the majority of Razzie Awards 2016 on Saturday night?
Well that would be the Marvel movie disaster “Fantastic Four,” The Channing Tatum sci-fi thriller “Jupiter Ascending,” and The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco for her theatrical acting chops being less than loved.
The Razzie Awards or in Hollywood it was the 36th annual celebration of the year’s worst movies were handed out in Los Angeles last night and leading off the Worst Picture category was tied with “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Fantastic Four.”
Did we not tell you that “Fantastic Four” was a big piece of garbage that needed to be incinerated or slashed up by Freddy Krueger’s switch blade hands?
But the wins didn’t stop there for “Fifty Shades” since leads Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson took Worst Actor and Actress for the paint drying performances. We blame the director for NOT having the actors push their limits and playing it safe with the movie. If it was a porn the little man would have left the seat. The also landed Worst Screen Combo and the script by Kelly Marcel whipped up Worst Screenplay. Yes it was worse than Twilight at least that movie had vampires and werewolves! Shades just has a man who has series insecurities and the woman has self-esteem issues.
Universal film’s dominance at the Razzies is undeniable. Fox’s “Fantastic Four” racked up hardware in the form of Worst Remake and Worst Director for Josh Trank.
Worst Supporting Actor went to Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne for his role in “Jupiter Ascending,” while Kaley Cuoco took Worst Supporting Actress for both “The Wedding Date” and “Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip.”
The Razzies were held at the Palace Theatre, in Downtown L.A. – on a high note Sylvester Stallone won the first-ever Razzie Redemption Award, for his triumphant comeback in “Creed.” Hopefully he wins the Oscar tonight for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture.
