Well it appears that Tom Cruise and the new improved version of The Mummy will be intense. A high adrenaline rush type of movie and Cruise faces off with a female Mummy in a intense new thriller.
Universal kicked off the marketing campaign for The Mummy this morning, offering a poster and a “teaser for the trailer” which featured not just Tom Cruise. You also get a glimpse of Russell Crowe as Dr. Jekyll. It is not only the first look at Universal’s very important summer 2017 release. December has become Spring/Summer blockbuster trailer month. With movies like Rogue One hitting on the 16th, this is the perfect time to set the stage for Summer 2017.
Last year, of course we saw a pluthera of Spring/Summer blockbuster trailers being shown prior to theatrical screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It has become the first round before the big Super Bowl commercial slot trailers for the big movies hoping to cash in the big bucks.
This season movie goers can expect a bunch of Spring/Summer blockbuster trailers hiting before or as a trailer for movies like Rogue One, Paramount’s Office Christmas Party, Passangers, Assassin’s Creed and more.
