Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage in talks Avengers: Infinity War just got word that Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage is in talks to join Avengers: Infinity War Pt 2.

Peter Dinklage was in talks for a major role in the upcoming epic featuring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Once word got out, fans went crazy, starting to speculate that the GoT star would be joining the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

Following the news, speculations on who Dinklage may be playing began, with possibilities ranging from the Watcher to Starfox.

One theory that gained a particular amount of traction was that Dinklage could be playing MODOK, the Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing that is the leader of AIM (Advanced Ideas Mechanics). The character first appeared in Tales of Suspense #93, and later made his first full appearance in Tales of Suspense #94.

If you recall, Dinklage has already starred in a Marvel Universe Cinematic movie. Peter portrayed Bolivar Trask, inventor of the Sentinels, in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

He would be a great addition to the MCU, plus we’ve noticed if an actor does well in a Marvel movie, they tend to land bigger roles later on.

Ben Affleck first starred as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Daredevil, then returned as the Batman. Paul Bettany starred as JARVIS (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Avengers, Iron Man 3). He returned The Vision (The Avengers: Age Of Ultron). Halle Berry starred as Patience Phillips/Catwoman in the dreadful Catwoman solo movie. Berry redeemed herself as Ororo Munroe/Storm (X-Men, X-Men 2, X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Days Of Future Past).

Actor, Ray Stevenson starred as Frank Castle/The Punisher in The Punisher: War Zone. He reappeared as Volstagg in Thor, and Thor: The Dark World. Tim Blake Nelson played Samuel Sterns in The Incredible Hulk and, Harvey Elder in the terrible The Fantastic Four reboot. Last is director/actor, Jon Favreau who was Happy Hogan in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Iron Man 3. He also played Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson in Daredevil.
