Inhumans Reboot Eyeing Vin Diesel + Dwayne Johnson As Black Bolt

CelebNMovies247.com reports that both Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson are under consideration to play Black Bolt in the MCU’s second try at the Inhumans.

Currently, Vin Diesel is the top choice for the role, but if he passes, we’ve been informed that Dwayne Johnson could be the studio’s second pick.

That is interesting since The Rock and Diesel famously feuded on the set of Fast & Furious movies. Who can forget the remarks were flying after Johnson said yes to doing Hobbs & Shaw. Shortly after the spin-off was announced the name calling started with the words “family” and “candy ass” stars. At the end of the day, it’s just business. As a result, Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) went their own direction.

Fast forward to today, the pair have been said to have made up. But there is still another problem Johnson is set to (finally) play Black Adam, with the shoot commencing in mid-2020, so he may not have time for a role in the MCU even if Marvel wants him.

Not to mention, it would just be odd to have him in both the MCU and the DCU. Though it sounds great, there is plenty of room for another actor to join the ranks of a superhero or villain in the MCU or DCU.

If you recall, it was reported that Marvel was rebooting the Inhumans way back in June, but that has changed to introducing some of the Inhumans in Ms. Marvel. With that said, it appears that Marvel Studios are efficiently pretending their last attempt at the Inhumans never happened.
