Read on about M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass…
In addition to Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy are coming back as dual super-villains Elijah Price (a/k/a “Mr. Glass”) and Kevin Wendell Crumb (a/k/a “The Beast”).
This time, Glass will pick up with Dunn pursuing The Beast, while Mr. Glass observes from afar, holding secrets to both men’s fates. It is really sounding interesting.
Spencer Treat Clark will return as Willis son in the movie. HE too will reprise his original role from Unbreakable. Charlayne Woodard will also reprise her role as Mr. Glass’ doting mother. They join Anya Taylor-Joy, who is coming back as Casey Cooke, the lone survivor of The Beast’s hidden lair, and Sarah Paulson, whose new role has yet to be defined.
What is so great about this franchise is that everyone has agreed to come back and reprise their roles in M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass. It’s nice to see consistency in films, we hate it when an actor thinks they’re too big for a role because it’s been a minute since the first movie.
M. Night is really committing to the continuity in his original comic book franchise. Fleshing out this universe is going to be key, and here’s hoping that he and producer Jason Blum can deliver on the writer/director’s. We hope to see more if Glass is successfully executed. Night’s comic book franchise is actually a more realistic take on the superhero villain genre.
