Michael Bay On Board For Transformers 5 One Last Time

It’s official Michael Bay On Board For Transformers 5 One Last Time, but this final run as director because Bay is done with the franchise!!!

CelebNMovies247.com has the details on Michael Bay that Transformers 5 will be his last…

Did you hear, Michael Bay On Board For Transformers 5 One Last Time?

After months of speculation Michael Bay has confirmed he will return yet again to direct Transformers 5, but there’s a catch this time.

Transformers 5 will apparently be the last one for Bay.

In fact, Bay spilled the beans in an interview with Rolling Stone:

“I’m doing Transformers … 5, is it?”

He later continued:

“Transformers, I still have a great time. It’s fun to do a movie that 100 million people will see. But this is the last one. I have to pass the reins to someone else.”

However, we would like to point out that this is not the first time Michael Bay has sung that tune. After Transformers: Dark of the Moon (the third film) and Transformers: Age of Extinction (the fourth and most recent film) Bay expressed similar sentiments and now, yet again, Bay is expressing the same sentiments again!

He said:

“J.J. [Abrams] told me, ‘You’re the only guy that could do this.’ But it’s time to move on. One more.”

Besides Bay, several other familiar names are returning for Transformers 5. Wahlberg will once again star, Lorenzo di Bonaventura will once again produce, and Steven Spielberg will once again executive produce. The script was written by Ken Nolan, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, based on a story dreamt up by the Transformers writers room led by Akiva Goldsman.

For now Bay’s movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi will be hitting the big screen on January 15, 2016, followed by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows on June 3 2016, The Purge 3 on July 1, 2016 and rounding out the year is Ouija 2 which hits just in time for Halloween on October 21, 2016. Then its back to Autobots, Decepticons, or Dinobots.

There is no release date has been set, but Transformers 5 is likely to land sometime in 2017. After Transformers 5 bay will be producing the long-awaited sequel Bad Boys 4 which is slated to open in theaters on July 3, 2019.
