Michael Kenneth Williams, Andrea Londo Talk Superfly CultureOne of Hollywood’s finest actors Michael Kenneth Williams weighs in on Superfly and what it was like to work with such a new and fresh cast on the remake of the classic black Exploitation movie Superfly.

The movie is similar in many ways but this time the setting is in the A, the new Harlem so to speak.

When asked the question about What makes Superfly, Superfly, Michael Kenneth Williams replied by saying “man the cast..its a new generation.”

Kenneth Williams said he loved working with Trevor Jackson and Jason Mitchell “they are the future.” He also said the Director X was great to work with, “he came in and new what he wanted and did it.”

Andrea Londo says that the movie is such a fun movie. The cast and friendships are relatable, especailly since the backdrop of the movie is the perfect place of hip hop’s culture of today.
