Pamela Anderson Weighs In on Baywatch Movie

The original ‘Baywatch’ star Pamela Anderson decide to weigh in with a comparison of what you could and couldn’t do on the original Baywatch series.

Pamela Anderson says the movie is completely different from what the original series was about…

Pamela Anderson Weighs In on Baywatch Movie has the latest on Baywatch from an OG perspective, Pamela Anderson, who talks about the original versus the new remake.

It’s crazy to think that something as classic and yet as cheesy as ‘Baywatch’ could still bring in an audience, but we would say that’s all about the casting. The new movie stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, basically the driving force of the movie.  In case you didn’t know, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson will be in the movie as well. Can we say CAMEOS!

Anyways, Anderson opened up about the big differences between the new movie and the 90s series. Pamela Anderson noticed that this Baywatch is set way apart from the series.

Pamela had this to say about the Seth Gordon directed film, with a laugh:

“There’s a little bit of swearing, I hear, a little bit of nudity that would not have flown back in the day when we were doing ‘Baywatch. So I think it’s kind of like a spoof, maybe?”

Pam plays Casey Jean Parker, the mother of CJ Parker played by Kelly Rohrbach. The role once helm by Anderson back on the TV version.

She says:

“It’s really fun to come back as the Captain, and who knows what will happen after this?”

Anderson adds:

“They’ve been talking to me for a while about doing it so I really appreciate them bringing me here and it’s been fun. My son was in the movie too so it’s exciting. I actually left the ‘Baywatch’ series when I was pregnant with Brandon so that shows you that’s 19 years ago.”

David Hasselhoff is credited as The Mentor, with Dwayne Johnson taking over his original role of Mitch Buchannon.

‘Baywatch’ is scheduled for release in theaters on May 25th 2017.
