Patty Jenkins has officially closed her deal to direct Wonder Woman 2 alongside Gal Gadot who already signed on to the DCEU film. Now, the magic team is back and ready for action.

Patty Jenkins Officially Signed on to Wonder Woman 2 is happy to hear that Wonder Woman 2 will continue its reign of success with director Patty Jenkins at the helm.

Patty Jenkins has confirmed the news via Variety. Wonder Woman 2 is slated for release on Dec. 13, 2019. News of a script already being penned for a sequel by Jenkins with Geoff Johns, who oversees the DC film universe along with Jon Berg for Warner Bros.

It’s said that Patty Jenkins deal with the studio is somewhere around the $8 million dollar range to write, direct and produce making her the highest paid female director of all time

Johns said at the time:

“The goal is to make another great ‘Wonder Woman’ film.”

Besides the “Wonder Woman” sequel, Jenkins is also developing a TNT TV series with her “Wonder Woman” star Chris Pine, inspired by the autobiography of Fauna Hodel. She is repped by CAA and Anonymous Content.
