Razzie Awards Winners: Holmes & Watson, Trump, Melissa McCarthy

Its a wrap for the Razzies for 2018, but Holmes & Watson was the “big winner” at the 39th annual Razzie Awards, taking home worst picture, worst director, worst remake/rip-off/sequel and worst supporting actor for John C. Reilly.

Wait until you get the details on who else were big winners at the Razzie Awards…

CelebNMovies247.com has the latest from this year Razzie Awards where Holmes & Watson was the “big winner” which is no surprise.

Who else took home a Razzie?

Melissa McCarthy is a double winner for worst actress in The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party, two of her worst movies ever made.

McCarthy is foul-mouthed and raunchy when she does comedy. She has so many great comedies its hard to count but one of her best movies was “The Heat,” “Identity Theft,” “The Boss” and “Spy”. Ironically, she proved herself since she has been nominated for an Oscar for the movie “Can You Ever Forgive Me?”

Meanwhile, Donald Trump picked up two awards, for worst actor and for worst screen combo, which the category notes as “Donald J. Trump & His Self-Perpetuating Pettiness.” Trump scored wins for appearing as himself in Michael Moore’s latest documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 and Dinesh D’Souza’s documentary Death of a Nation.

Lastly, Fifty Shades Freed scored one award for worst screenplay, making sure that the franchise grabbed yet one last Razzie for the franchise.

Until next year…
