Is Universal Studios actually keeping Vin Diesel and Dawyne The Rock Johnson separate during the promo tours and events? Something tells us that this is alleged feud is all PR for the movie, but here is what The Hollywood Reporter is claiming:
“Universal Pictures held its CinemaCon presentation today, which included The Fate of the Furious, with stars such as Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Charlize Theron and director F. Gary Gray in attendance. Everyone noticed that Dwayne Johnson was notably missing from the panel.”
Before the rumor get way out of control, CelebNMovies247.com wants to remind everyone that Dwayne Johnson is extremely busy. Not only does he have The Fate of the Furious, he is also starring in Sony Pictures Jumanji remake. The Rock has been at the convention for the past two weeks, but he’s promoting his Jumanji remake. Diesel has 6 movies in production while Johnson has 11 movies, and three of them are releases this year. Baywatch May 26, 2017 – The Fate of the Furious April 14, 2017 and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle December 22, 2017.
The Rock was also there promoting his upcoming Paramount Picture’s Baywatch on Tuesday. Plus, Dwayne Johnson was already back in Miami, shooting the third season of his HBO series Ballers. See, Johnson is extremely busy, he has three movies coming out in 2017 and all at three different studios. How many actors are in that type of demand?
They can say all they want about Universal Keeping the two actors apart after last years feud, but we think someone is trying to get some PR to increase ticket sales.

Universal reportedly tried to downplay any tensions between the two actors, claiming that they have both simply been on different continents during the run-up to this sequel. Both actors were seen present during the Fast 8 trailer launch in New York back in December.
The studio will close out this lucrative franchise with Fast & Furious 9 on April 19, 2019 and Fast & Furious 10 on April 2, 2021.
Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, The Fate of the Furious welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar winner Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.
