CelebNMovies247.com has heard that Marvel are rumored to be holding a creative summit soon, so it’s likely that Black Panther sequel will have a clearer direction before the end of the year.

While the movie is still two years and several months away, Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther sequel is still having its story figured out.

What we know so far is that Kevin Feige already said (recently as Disney D23 a few weeks ago), that the Chadwick Boseman sequel has had an outline written. And the cool thing is that Bob Iger personally championed for the Black Panther IP in spite of apprehension from Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter. The movie paid off bringing in a billion dollars and Oscar accolades.

With that said, Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman have plenty of time to figure things out before the cameras need to start rolling in 2021.

Synopsis:

The first Black Panther followed T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and Black Panther — is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole. the first movie starred Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Sterling K. Brown, Florence Kasumba, John Kani, with Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.

Many of the characters will return, and there is even rumors of Marvel introducing the first X-Men character, Storm into the MCU. That will be interesting.

As of now, Black Panther is now available on Digitial HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.

The untitled Black Panther sequel is set to release on May 6, 2022.
