All-Female Cast Ocean's Eight Get Release Date has the latest news on Ocean’s Eight via Warner Bros. that stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, and Sarah Paulson.

Here is what we know:

Ocean’s Eight will be produced by Ocean’s Eleven director Steven Soderbergh and Ross, along with executive producer Susan Ekins. Village Roadshow is co-producing and co-financing, as it did with the three previous Ocean’s movies starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Gary Ross, whose credits include The Hunger Games and Free State of Jones, is directing. Bullock’s character will be the leader of a group of thieves and cons who try to pull off a major heist. Ross is directing from a script that he co-wrote with Olivia Milch.

Overseeing the film for the studio are Greg Silverman and Jesse Ehrman. As for production? It’s schedule to start on location in New York very soon.

Ocean’s Eight had been listed previously on the June 8, 2018, only as a Warner Bros. “event film.” will open against Paramount’s sixth Transformers movie, planned as a spin-off centering on Bumblebee autobot.

Will Ocean’s Eight hit blockbuster status like its predecessor trilogy?

If you recall, Ocean’s Eleven trilogy of heist comedies released in 2001, 2004 and 2007, which were directed by Steven Soderbergh, produced by the late Jerry Weintraub and starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts. The three films grossed more than $1.1 billion worldwide.

We will see. If the movie is like the all-female Ghostbusters movie then there is nothing to worry about. Plus Warner Bros. is making sure the movie is jammed pack with A-list talent, so we have faith in the movie thus far.
