Scream 2022 Trailer Is Here + Ghostface Is Slashing Deep!

CelebnMovies247.com has your first look at the upcoming Scream (2022) movie that will honor Wes Craven’s masterpiece horror film.

Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers, and David Arquette’s Deputy Dewey Riley are back for another battle with the bloody slasher, Ghostface.  Scream 2022 also has a new cast of characters, many of which will probably not make it to the end credits.

Father Death aka Ghostface will make sure he slashes through a lot of flesh before the movie is over.

Newcomers to the film include Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Sonia Ammar, Mikey Madison, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Reggie Conquest.

Who will survive, and who is the killer this time around? What’s the motive or is there one?

What we know from the trailer:

Ghostface always targets people related to the OG cast. Sidney prepares for another bloody showdown with the killer, saying “I’ve been through this…a lot.”

15 years later, Sydney Prescott continues to battle her nemesis Ghostface. In fact, Ghostface says in the movie, “Sydney Prescott…It’s an honor.”

Horror fans lost Wes Craven in 2015, and the hope of another “Scream” movie was unsure. However, a note from directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who helmed 2019’s horror-comedy “Ready or Not,” changed everyone’s mind.

 

Campbell added:

I’m so grateful for these films… I love Sidney Prescott. It’s always fun for me to step back in her shoes, and it’s always fun for me to see the cast come back and make one of these films again and try to make another good one.
