Stan Lee Kicks off Silicon Valley Comic Con 2016


If you didn’t make it to the Silicon Valley Comic Con 2016 you missed out because Comic Con went downtown in San Jose where you could rub shoulders with Stormtroopers, Stan Lee and more!!!

At this years Silicon Valley Comic Con 2016 it was filled with hunting zombies and Marvel Comics icon Stan Lee signing autographs at the inaugural Silicon Valley Comic Con, founded by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, at the McEnery San.

The event went down in March, but Comic Con fans came out in fashion dressed in all kinds of superhero garb of their favorite superheroes and the up coming Suicide Squad.


Wozniak told a ballroom full of fans:

“There was a time before Apple when we were geeks, and we were just different.”

“We liked living outside the rules.”

Wozniak adds:

“You see a lot of science fiction turning into real products.”

 “I can press one button and a car will come pick me up. In science fiction, there were always robots that were smarter than men — we haven’t really gotten to robots that are smart yet, but that’s the track that we’re on.”

Other celebs in attendance were Captain America’s Civil War star Jeremy Renner. Back To The Future cast; Lea Thompson, Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Other stars include Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in “Star Wars”; William Shatner and Nichelle Nichols, who played Captain Kirk and Lieutenant Uhura in the original “Star Trek” TV series; Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee; “Deadpool” director Tim Miller.


Convention organizers rounded up a host of celebrities for appearances, including “Back to the Future” stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson, Below:

Wozniak said he wasn’t certain that the event would come back next year.

He concluded:

“It’s just like a new product…It’s a startup company. Is it going to go or not? That’s going to be determined by how well you enjoy the event.”
