Tom Hardy is now the center of attention of Hollywood hunks in line to be the new James Bond…
See, Tom Hardy made the critical mistake of expressing his interest in being the next 007 in Bond 23. When he was talking to The Daily Beast, he got himself into a line of questioning about the presumably vacant 007 spot.
Hardy replied to the interviewer’s suggestion that Inception director Christopher Nolan would be a good replacement as director for the Bond franchise.
Tom Hardy replied:
“Oh, wow, Chris would be amazing! Wow, that would be cool. That would be so cool.”
With RUMORS circulating that Daniel Craig is still refusing to return as Bond in the 23 sequel for a $150 million, to the 6.5 decade long franchise. Tom accidently put the focus on himself as the answer.
Hardy said, confirming that he’s in the running.
“There’s a saying amongst us in the fraternity of acting that if you talk about it you’re automatically out of the race. So I can’t possibly comment on that one!”
Hardy weighed in on the Dunkirk director helming 007:
“It would be a very hard re-imagination to follow. I wonder what the next instalment of that franchise would become, and I think when you mention someone like Christopher Nolan, that’s a very powerful figure to bring into that world who could bring something new and create something profound – again.”
Would like Tom Hardy as James Bond? He is more of the rugged sexy type 007.
