First up is the third Planet of the Apes films in the new franchise titled War for the Planet of the Apes. What we like about these films is that they’re a retelling of the 70s films, but this time they’ve cleaned them up to make better sense of “what, why, when and how.”
In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
Director Matt Reeves showed different scenes from the movie in various stages of production. There may be some minor spoilers below. If you haven’t seen it already, check out the latest trailer for the movie.

The action thriller comes from Warner Bros. Pictures and director Christopher Nolan (“Interstellar,” “Inception,” “The Dark Knight” Trilogy) in an epic telling war film.
The movies stars Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Fionn Whitehead, Aneurin Barnard, Harry Styles, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan, Tom Glynn-Carney
“Dunkirk” opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
DUNKIRK arrives in theaters July 21, 2017.
