Bros Trailer: First Look At Billy Eichner’s LGBTQ+ Rom-Com!

Well, its about time that gay people get a rom-com that will be a mainstream release. There have been so many in the past but Bros looks to be hilariously fun and totally romantic…

CelebnMovies247.com has your first look at Billy Eichner new film where he is just trying to find love in a new Bros trailer.

Eichner is leading the cast of the historic LGBTQ+ rom-com alongside Luke Macfarlane, TS Madison, Monica Raymund, Guillermo Díaz, Guy Branum, Amanda Bearse, Jim Rash, Bowen Yang, Miss Lawrence and Harvey Fierstein. Bros is not only a rare gay rom-com from a major studio but is also the first to feature an entirely LGBTQ+ principal cast.

Development on Bros was first announced in early 2019 when Eichner teamed up with Neighbors and Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller to co-write and helm the rom-com at Universal Pictures with Judd Apatow producing the film. Following various delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, filming on Bros would finally get underway in mid-2021 in New York, with its ensemble LGBTQ+ cast being announced a few months later. Though originally slated for an August release, Bros is set to arrive this September and audiences are getting a new glimpse at the upcoming film.

With a few months still remaining until the film hits theaters, Universal Pictures has revealed a new Bros trailer. The video sees Billy Eichner’s Bobby, a cynical gay man struggling to find love in an increasingly progressive world.

While the first Bros trailer offered a good indication of the sense of humor audiences could expect from Eichner’s rom-com, the new footage offers a better look at what the story entails for the new film. The trailer shows off Eichner’s character as working for an LGBTQ+ organization working to launch a national museum celebrating their culture as well as preparing to celebrate Pride Month, all while dealing with disagreements over respectful awareness across the various communities. This can be found in the new Bros trailer with Jim Rash’s humorous outburst about a lack of acknowledgement for Bisexual Awareness Week and Dot-Marie Jones retorting about a lack of mention for Lesbian History Month the prior March.

Did you know that “Bros” is the first all gay cast when it comes to rom-coms.

“Bros” is set to hit theaters on September 30, 2022.
