Today the world got a bit darker as we lost a superhero that has touched millions of people. Stan Lee has died.
The 95-year-old man behind the Marvel Universe Stan Lee has died. Read on…
CelebNMovies247.com reports Stan Lee was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center early this morning.
An ambulance rushed to Stan Lee‘s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning to take the Marvel Universe genius to the Hospital.
Unfortunately, Stan Lee passes away at the hospital.
We are told that Lee had suffered several illnesses over the last year or so — he had pneumonia and vision issues.
Stan started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with The Fantastic Four. He went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, and The Avengers.
Over the years Lee made various cameos in his live-action superhero films. With the success of his Marvel Universe becoming an empire, he was forced to sue Marvel since they never paid him royalties for the first “Spider-Man” movie in 2002.
A few years later he settled with Marvel and they paid him $10 million. The Marvel franchise is in full effect these days but Lee has had his hand in every film to make sure the integrity of the characters stayed true to the comics he created.
We Hope Stan Lee’s Vision will Live On and NOT End up like The Fantastic Four remake:
We hope that Marvel films will be able to live up to expectations of Lee from now to the future. We all saw the tragic Fantastic Four remake that Lee was not a part of to oversee the creation of his birthchild that started it all.
Hopefully, Marvel will remember to keep Lee’s vision, heart and soul in all the films moving forward. None of us want to see another disaster like the dreadful 2015 Fantastic Four directed by Josh Trank. Trank should have his director card revoked for making that piece of crap!
“Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” is the latest installment of the film’s franchise and will be released next month.
A message was posted on Lee’s Instagram which reads “Excelsior”:
Lee is survived by his daughter, J.C. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017.
Lee was 95.
RIP
