CelebNMovies247.com has your first look at the Come As You Are trailer from director Richard Wong (Yes, We’re Open), which made its debut earlier this year at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Come As You Are is making its way to theaters in the U.S. in early 2020. And, based on this trailer, this promises to put a pretty unique, real-life spin on the classic road trip comedy.
Come As You Are centers on three young men with disabilities (Grant Rosenmeyer, Hayden Szeto, and Ravi Patel) who leave their overbearing parents and set off on a road trip. Their destination? A brothel in Montreal, Canada that caters specifically to people with special needs. Sam (Gabourey Sidibe), a traveling nurse, is hired to drive the trio of friends across the border as they go on this trip to lose their virginity, while also embracing their independence. It is based on the 2011 Belgian movie Hasta La Vista.
Come As You Are hits theaters and VOD on February 14, 2020, from Samuel Goldwyn Films.
