It was a beautiful night under the night skies in Westwood Village as celebrities walked the white carpet to attend the new Amy Schumer comedy about loving yourself and having the confidence to know you are pretty.
The 36-year-old actress looked pretty in a two-toned pink dress as she walked the carpet at her premiere. When questioned about the movies perpetuating negative body image stereotypes.
Amy responded:
It’s not about an ugly troll becoming beautiful. It’s about a woman who has low self-esteem finding some. Everyone’s got a right to feel that feeling, regardless of their appearance. We all struggle with self-esteem.
I FEEL PRETTY is a movie of overcoming ones insecurity and getting the confidence to never allow anyone to tell you different. It has nothing to do with stereotypes, it points out what some American woman look like. All women aren’t a size 0 thru 3!
