CelebNMovies247.com reports that Black-ish Star Marsai Martin will not only star in the lead role of the film Little, she will also be one of the EP’s.

Marsai Martin is wearing two hats for the film Little. One in front of the camera and one behind the camera. Martin said during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

She assured her fans:

This is the first movie I have in front of the camera and behind the camera. It’s not gonna be my last.

Truth be told, Marsai is the vision behind Little.

Tracy Oliver tweeted:

I went into Universal to do a joint pitch with a then 11-year-old Marsai Martin for this movie that SHE dreamt up.

Synopsis:

Little is the story of Jordan Sanders (Regina Hall) who is transformed into a younger version of herself when the pressures of life become overwhelming. Marsai Martin portrays the younger version of Jordan. The young star definitely brings loads of sass to her role.

Marsai Martin recently spoke with ESSENCE about her new film:

You don’t really see a 14-year-old girl creating her own stuff and actually making it into theaters. That’s why you have to start working with people that will trust you and will believe that you can do it and will trust that you can carry … such a big responsibility.
