Don’t Breathe 2 Coming To Theaters Summer 2021!

CelebnMovies247.com reports that the highly anticipated horror sequel Don’t Breathe 2 on the big screen, as Screen Gems has officially set the movie’s release date for next year.
Stephen Lang previously announced that the script was complete.
Then Stephen Lang announced on Twitter that he had wrapped filming on the sequel, which came as a surprise to many who hadn’t even realized the project was filming. So as long as 2021 doesn’t turn out like 2020, the plan is for Don’t Breathe 2 to be released in theaters on Aug. 13, 2021.

Don’t Breathe was a tremendous moneymaker for Sony when it was released four years ago. On a budget of less than $10 million, the movie grossed over $157 million in worldwide ticket sales. After this success, Alvarez knew that the studio would be open to returning to that well for even more profits, and a sequel was announced mere months after the original’s release.
By the end of 2018, Alvarez had announced that the screenplay was completed, and producer Sam Raimi gave the premise great praise.
Filming began April 2020, and just one week ago the sequel has wrapped. Don’t Breathe co-writer Rodo Sayagues has taken over for the director seat for Fede Alvarez. Sayagues has wrapped filming of Don’t Breathe 2.
It seems that the blind man will once again be protecting his home from intruders. Next year, if COVID clears and theaters are open again.
Don’t Breathe 2 will hit theaters by Screen Gems on Friday, Nov. 13, 2021. A Quiet Place Part II will also open in the theater next year. 2021 will be a good time for fans of the more silent type of horror movies. Halloween Kills will hit on Halloween and in 2022 Scream 5 will return with multiple killers.
