When Don’t Breathe came out in 2016, it took moviegoers by storm and now the sequel’s script is completed.
The script for Don’t Breathe 2 has now been completed and star Stephen Lang says it’s going to be great. Read on…
CelebNMovies247.com reports that Don’t Breathe 2 star Stephen Lang, the 67-year-old actor who played a blind veteran with a dark secret in the first film, hunting a group of burglars is back.
Stephen Lang revealed at this year’s Fantastic Fest that he’s read what’s going to take place in the sequel and it sounds like it’s going to be just as satisfying as the original.
The Don’t Breathe 2 star said:
I’ve read the screenplay [for Don’t Breathe 2] and it’s really good!
The first movie captivated audiences from the very first trailer and now it appears the sequel will be doing the same.
If you recall, Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, and Daniel Zovatto star as three petty crooks who make a living by breaking into homes to steal the homeowners’ valuables. Once they find out about a seemingly harmless blind man living in a seedy area of the city, they feel that they’re in line for an easy score. Instead, they’re trying to survive and find a way out before wily veteran takes their life.
The film ended up being a huge hit with audiences despite its low budget of less than $10 million. Don’t Breathe managed to haul in over $157 million at the box office and scored largely positive reviews upon release.
Now Don’t Breathe 2 will be making its way back to theaters and the best thing is that Stephen Lang is back on board for a second round, according to Dread Central.
