CelebNMovies247.com got word a few months back that Universal was prepping a brand new, direct-to-video adaptation of the Doom video game franchise.
Well, we have the first look photos from the DOOM set, which is being filmed in Bulgaria. Read on…
Director Tony Giglio decided to give an update on DOOM for fans with a series of photos from the set while they were filming into the late early morning hours.
Tony Giglio series of photos shows that DOOM, which is set for release in 2019 will be a bloodbath or gore, fighting and lots of horror movie action.
Yes, this movie is a splatterfest of gruesome killings and everything DOOM the game is all about.
Apparently set for release, according to the film’s IMDb page, on January 1, 2019, Giglio’s Doom stars Amy Manson, Louis Mandylor, Dominic Mafham, Nina Bergman, Luke Allen-Gale, Jemma Moore, Arkie Reece, Gavin Brocker, Amer Chadha-Patel, Katrina Nare, Chidi Ajufo, James Weber Brown and Clayton Adams.
If you recall, DOOM originally came out in 2005 theatrically, starring Karl Urban, Rosamund Pike, Dwayne Johnson. Now, Universal felt it was time to remake the movie again but this time makes it more bloody and gross.
The original synopsis reads as follows:
Space Marines are sent to investigate strange events at a research facility on Mars but find themselves at the mercy of genetically enhanced killing machines.
We doubt there is much change to the premise of the film, except this time no big-name actors will be starring in the horror movie.
