Avengers Infinity War has had Marvel fans up in arms since the movie hit the big screen, but everyone is confused because Spider-Man, The Black Panther, and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 are already confirmed.
So, where does it leave the beloved Drax played by Dave Batista? Read on and find out what Dave just said in an interview. [spoiler alert, so be warned]…
CelebNMovies247.com has the latest tea regarding a few Marvel superheroes, namely Spider-Man, The Black Panther and The Guardians of the Galaxy.
During an interview with Collider, Dave Bautista went ahead and stated the obvious, despite Drax ashing at the end of the film, alongside Peter Parker/Spider-Man, The Black Panther apparent death in Infinity War, he’ll be back for Avengers 4 and Guardians Vol. 3.
Let’s also not forget that at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, a huge chunk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe goes up in smoke – literally. Thanos wins, snapping his fingers and erasing a huge swath of characters from existence. All of the Guardians of the Galaxy, except for Rocket and Nebula vanish into thin air. Yet, it’s hard to believe that these “deaths” will be permanent. Or will they?
What we do know is that James Gunn is making Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 is set for release following the final Avengers movie. We have also heard that there is a Thor 4 and a Black Widow movie in development, so where does that leave us?
Right here with new information from yours truly, Dave Batista who stated the obvious:
I got a lot of texts saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re dead, your character is dead.’ They were really like heartbroken and I was like ‘I’m gonna be in four. I’m gonna be in Guardians 3.’ I don’t know how they’re bringing me back, yeah but somehow I’m going to make it because, as far as I know, I am going to be in Guardians 3, so I have to be back.
If Drax is NOT dead, then that means our theory may be correct. Everyone who ashed at the end of Infinity War is the ones who survive and the ones who didn’t are the ones who died. Our other theory is that Thanos is now in the soul stone where he will be held captive for eternity along with the other Avengers, Guardians and Wakanda fighters who didn’t make it.
