We just learned that Guardians Vol. 3 wants Lady Gaga to play Lady Lylla does make a lot of sense.
Continue on to see what is going on with direction James Gunn and Guardians Vol. 3…
Lady Gaga is reportedly being considered for the role of Lylla, Rocket’s love interest who is set to make an appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This would mark a reunion between Gaga and Bradley Cooper, who voices Rocket, after last year’s A Star is Born. pic.twitter.com/rYTWzQFsSj

CelebNMovies247.com reports that Lady Gaga going to play Lady Lylla in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which seems like it works almost too well. Lady Lylla is a sentient otter in the Guardians comics and the soulmate of Rocket Raccoon.
James Gunn has officially stated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will have more of Rocket’s story in it, so a love interest does make sense. Rocket’s story is the saddest to the director, who says he can see a bit of himself in the character. Gunn also said Rocket’s story is not finished, which lines up with rumors of Rocket’s creator The High Evolutionary being involved. As for who could be playing that role, Mark Hamill’s name has come up more than once.
As for Lady Lylla, she was first introduced in 1982’s Incredible Hulk #271 during the Toy War. She is the heiress to the largest toymaking empire Mayhem Mekaniks, which is located on the planet Halfworld. It will be interesting to see if James Gunn decides to go down this route for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The story makes sense and lines up with the previous reports about the sequel, but will Lady Gaga actually be the voice for the otter
What is interesting is that Rocket Raccoon, is conveniently voiced by Bradley Cooper.
This would also mean that the couple would be set as lovers oce agian.
