After much anticipation, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions have revealed the first trailer for Halloween 2018!
Check out the return Michael Myers vs his sister Laurie Strode in Halloween 2018…
CelebNMovies247.com has your first look trailer for Halloween 2018 and the continual telling of Michael Myers who won’t sleep until his bloodline is ALL DEAD!
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role of Laurie Strode in Halloween 2018, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since her teens.
Now, 40 years later all is explained, and the other films suggest that the man behind the mask was an imposter because Myers has been locked up all this time.
Judy Greer plays Karen Strode, the daughter of Curtis’ character, and Andi Matichak (Orange Is the New Black, Underground) plays Allyson, the granddaughter of Laurie Strode.
Curtis’ character was unceremoniously killed off in Halloween: Resurrection in 2002, but in true Halloween franchise fashion, it would appear that the new Halloween film will be ignoring the continuity of many of the sequels in favor of telling its own story. Curtis has previously appeared in four films in the series, including 1978 original, its 1981 sequel, 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and Resurrection.
Like Friday The 13th where Jason never dies, Laurie Strode is like Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in Alien, she just keeps being resurrected.
Master of horror John Carpenter will executive produce and serve as creative consultant on this film, joining forces with cinema’s current leading producer of horror, Jason Blum (Get Out, Split, The Purge, Paranormal Activity). Inspired by Carpenter’s classic, filmmakers David Gordon Green and Danny McBride crafted a story that carves a new path from the events in the landmark 1978 film. Green also directs.
Look for The Shape to return on October 19, 2018.
