There is still some time until the third installment of the ‘Ride Along’ comedy series, Ride Along 3 hit the big screen, but Ice Cube + Kevin Hart are confirmed to return.

It appears that both Ice Cube + Kevin Hart’s schedules are extremely busy and this is why fans of the Ride Along series will have to wait a couple more years before the film makes it way the big screen. Read on…

CelebNMovies247.com reports that Kevin Hart is one of Hollywood’s high demand actors so its no wonder Ride Along 3 will take some time.

Kevin Hart is currently filming the movie Fatherhood which will come out in April 2020. But that is just the beginning for Hart, he has four movies ahead of Ride Along 3. After Fatherhood, he is also working on a remake of the Bill Murray classic Scrooged.

Hart is also in pre-production for My Own Worst Enemy directed by Tim Story and written by Chad St. John. After that, he will be filming the remake of the Dan Akroyd/ John Candy comedy classic The Great Outdoors penned by Randall Green (no director attached yet). Then he has Uptown Saturday Night, which is a comedy around two friends, their night at an illegal club, a misplaced wallet, and a winning lottery ticket. The movie is written by Kenya Barris (Black-ish, Grown-ish, Girls Trip, Shaft) and will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa.

Not to mention his deal with STXfilms and his announcement of ‘Night Wolf’ which is part of his three-movie deal.

What is up with Ice Cube?

When it comes to Ice Cube, he is just as busy with his Big 3 basketball and his film schedule starting off with The Killer’s Game with director D.J. Caruso attached. The movie is about a world-weary assassin who’s taken a hit out on himself finds a new reason to live after his girlfriend discovers she’s pregnant. Together, they race across Europe, trying to outrun his would-be killers.

There is also, Last Friday which is currently in pre-production and written by Ice Cube himself. The film brings back Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, Mike Epps, John Witherspoon, as well as Cube. This time around Cube adds comedian Michael Blackson.

And just like Kevin Hart, Cube is also working on his own adaptation of Charles Dickens’s Scrooge novel, but Ice Cube’s film is called Humbug which has Tim Story attached to direct.
Matt Ember, Earl Richey Jones, and Todd R. Jones are the ones behind the pen for this holiday comedy which will be a contemporary telling of the story of Scrooge. When a wealthy real estate mogul will be visited by the three ghosts.
