Jamie Lee Curtis Bids Farewell To Halloween Films!

CelebnMovies247.com reports that horror movie scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis has officially wrapped filming on Halloween Ends.
Jamie Lee Curtis explains that finally putting an end to her character Lori Strode is “Bittersweet.” Curtis wrote a heartfelt post about her time on set of the David Gordon Green directed, Blumhouse produced film trilogy.
.The legendary actress wrote about the “great friends” she has gained as well as the “wonderful artists” she’s worked with on the newest installments of the Michael Myers based series. She also gave a shout-out to her fans who have shown up for both her and her character, Laurie Strode, after all of these years. Co-stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Kyle Richards, and The Shape himself, James Jude Courtney also got a mention in the post.
She took to social media writing:
A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween movies. I’ve made great friends and have collaborated with wonderful artists on these three movies and today my part in the film has been completed and with it the END for me of this trilogy. It’s all because of the fans who have always supported me and more importantly, Laurie, and the creative teams at BLUMHOUSE.

Last shot in Savannah. Heading HOME! When I play Laurie Strode I put away the talismans of Jamie Lee Curtis’s life. My wedding ring. My cherished necklace with the @cathywaterman child charm with Annie and Ruby’s names and the @my_hand_in_yours pendant she made. The pearl Ruby gave me when I stood up for her. The circle of life from @itsjasonblum @cartier and today the knife from @baby.blades which I found on @etsy and had made for my OG HALLOWEEN team. These good luck charms hang around my neck every day and remind me of who I am and I was thrilled to put them back on after taking them off to film the movie. I’m back to Jamie and I’m already cleaning and organizing and throwing things out although I’m doing so with a tiny limp and moving much slower as I am battered and bruised but ebullient from the experience of shooting HALLOWEEN ENDS!

Halloween Ends directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and by Chris Bernier is set to make its way to theaters in October, just in time for Halloween.
