The True Blood and Magic Mike XXL hunk Joe Manganiello will indeed be playing the mercenary/assassin Deathstroke in Warner Bros.’ upcoming film slate.
What is cool is Joe Manganiello will be be antagonizing Ben Affleck‘s Batman in the writer/director/star’s solo adventure. Now fans can get a glimpse of Deathstroke, a.k.a. Slade Wilson, in Zack Snyder‘s upcoming Justice League film.
Yes, Justice League will introduce Deathstroke.

The news comes from The Wall Street Journal which reports that Johns himself confirmed the casting. Johns stopped short of confirming whether or not Manganiello had a cameo in Justice League, but since the production is still underway in London, there’s every chance that he’ll make an appearance.
Sorry, Ben spilled the beans already about Deathstroke having a spot in Justice League.

Manganiello is best known for his role of the werewolf Alcide on HBO’s True Blood and his role in the Magic Mike franchise. He can also be seen in David Ayer‘s law enforcement action film Sabotage, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But the 6’5? Hollywood Hunk is bringing a wealth of stunt and action experience to the role, Manganiello’s Deathstroke will certainly be an imposing obstacle for the Batman.
