Vin Diesel had this to say about “Pablo” finding him someone for Fast & Furious 9, and it was John Cena.
Dominic Toretto aka Vin explains:
As you know, I’m always thinking fast, and thinking about the responsibility of making something iconic and deserving of your loyalty. I know this sounds crazy, but every blue moon I feel like Pablo [Paul Walker] up there sends me someone. Another soldier in the fight for the truth. Today, someone came by Toretto Gym that speaks to what Pablo would have brought me.
At the end of the video, Diesel brings John Cena into the frame. Cena doesn’t say anything but he makes a quick “you can’t see me” motion and winks at the camera.
Could this mean that Dwayne Johnson is out after all the drama when he said yes to the spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw?
We did some research and Dwayne Johnson’s name has been removed from the cast according to IMDB. One thing we do know is that Johnson said that he is happy to give John Cena any of the roles he is unable to film. The Rock has a very busy schedule, so this might just be a scheduling issue.
