The Underwater trailer establishes a crew of underwater researchers 7 miles deep underwater up against a terrifying monster that should have NEVER been discovered.

Synopsis:

After an earthquake destroys their underwater station, six researchers must navigate two miles in the dangerous, unknown depths of the ocean floor to make it to safety in a race against time.

The film looks to be a thrill ride for moviegoers as it seems to put Kristen Stewart, T.J. Miller, Vincent Cassel up against all odds.

Director William Eubank takes Kristen Stewart’s character Norah in one of the most terrifying places, deep underwater, a place no one wants to be when the subterranean research laboratory begins to leak. The lab gets destroyed and the crew is forced to walk across the bottom of the ocean to survive. They must contend with the deep-sea creature or creatures that are now awake. T.J. Miller is the comic releaf of the film.

Underwater is a true sci-fi horror vibe which is similar to Ridley Scott’s original Alien while watching the trailer. It has that Leviathon vibe to it aw well. The movies visuals have a real horror quality to them and appear distinctive enough to help this movie stand out.

The film was penned by Brian Duffield and Adam Cozad.
