CelebnMovies247.com reports that Lindsay Lohan has been trying to make a comeback over the years, but she is doing a Netflix movie that is being called an Overboard ripoff.
Lindsay Lohan may have thought the Netflix Christmas film was a great choice, but fans are not amused.
A new tweet posted by Netflix on Monday has revealed that the next big project for the former child star will be as the lead in a holiday romantic comedy.
The post reads:
Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.
After fans read the synopsis, everyone took to social media to call the movie a ripoff.
Some fans can’t help but think of the Overboard movies when reading the plot description for Lohan’s holiday movie. One fan responded to the official announcement by writing:
