Netflix has released the first look at its new Stephen King horror film In the Tall Grass – and it’s both creepy and seriously intense.

CelebNMovies247.com has the latest from another Stephen King horror classic. The novella written by by Stephen King and Joe Hill is being brought to life by directed by Vincenzo Natali.

Director Vincenzo Natali is known for his horror/thriller movies Cube, Haunter, and Splice.

The story follows a brother and sister who venture into a vast field of grass in Kansas after hearing a young boy’s cry for help, but they soon discover that there may be no way out – and the first-look clip gives viewers a taste of that signature King-style horror.

 

 

In the Tall Grass stars Laysla De Oliveira and Avery Whitted as brother and sister duo Becky and Cal Demuth respectively, the trailer sees the pair enter the grass fields, only to quickly get lost as an unknown force seeks separate and disorientate them further.

Moments into the trailer Becky says:

Something’s not right about this.

And from there is just get creepier and scarier by the second. maybe entering the tall grass wasn’t the smartest thing to do.

Aquaman star Patrick Wilson and Rachel Wilson also star in the film, playing a husband and wife who are also quickly caught up in the terrifying situation as well. The movie twists and turns while getting darker and scarier.
