Paul Feig Confirms Universal Horror Project In The Works!

CelebNMovies247.com reveals that he is working on a new monster movie titled ‘Dark Army’, for Universal Studios’ ‘Dark Universe’ collection of films which was kick-started The Tome Cruise ‘The Mummy’ movie.

Paul Feig, 57, reveals that he cannot wait to get started on the horror. He has hinted that it will be similar in style to Universal’s classic creature features from the past.

Feig spoke with BANG Showbiz at the UK premiere of his latest film ‘Last Christmas’ in London saying:

I’m writing this monster movie for Universal Studios that I hope will be the next thing I make. It’s going to be fun and scary but just like the old ‘Frankenstein’ and ‘Dracula’ movies.

Paul who has directed a variety of films, from ‘Bridesmaids’ to ‘Ghostbusters’ is proud that he is “racking up” the genres.

He said:

I’m stacking up the genres. What’s next, musicals?

Paul’s ‘Dark Army’ film will be the latest in a long line of horror movies released by Universal.

Universal Studios was built on monster movies back in the 1920s thanks to Lon Chaney’s ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera’.

The ‘Dark Universe’ next film is set to be Leigh Whannell’s ‘The Invisible Man’, which stars Elisabeth Moss and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.

‘The Invisible Man’ is planning to scare moviegoers in February 2020.
