Ok so it sounds like we are jumping way ahead, like four years ahead since Spider-Man: Far From Home just released on Blu-Ray/Digital/DVD, but there is already talks about Spider-Man 4.
Yes, we said it, Spider Man 4, but this is why. Ever since Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s post-credits scene teased Scorpion and his pals getting revenge on the wall-crawler, fans have been wondering when Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will face the Sinister Six. Read on…
CelebNMovies247.com is now hearing that Peter Parker will face the Sinister Six in Spider-Man 4.
So what about Spider-Man 3?
Well it appears with the talks about Spider-Man 4, the third installment will have to be a build to the fouth film. Not to mention we keep getting the same sort of battles with the 7 solo Spidey movies so far.
Which means fans want to see the supervillain team finally appear on the big screen.
CelbNMovies247.com has learned the following from a source who spilled some tea to We Got This Covered.
According to the source, the same ones who spilled the tea that Marvel was developing a She-Hulk, that the fourth Tom Holland standalone film will feature the hero taking on the Six. Apparently, Spider-Man 4 will be a “big event movie” where the half a dozen antagonists go toe to toe with Spidey.
But before Marvel fans can see all this play out Marvel is developing a Sinister Six solo film before Spidey 4 to set up their conflict with Peter.
Pretty cool right?
Marvel is still keeping secrets on what’s coming from the superhero conglomerate.
Given the fact that Spider-Man: Far From Home didn’t touch on the Sinister Six, it only made sense that rushing into a Six vs Spidey in Spider-Man 3 would be too soon.
As for the Sinister Six solo movie, Sony has been trying to get this off the ground for years. In fact, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 did all the heavy lifting for it before that version of the franchise was canceled in favor of lending the character to the MCU. Drew Goddard was originally set to helm the S6 film, though he later moved onto X-Force. Now that that Fox project has also been nixed, it’s feasible he could return to do Sinister Six before the group goes on to appear in Spider-Man 4.
We will keep you posted…
