It’s been nearly two years since the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but the debate if it is a worthy addition to Star Wars franchise continues.
Many think that Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the worst thing to happen to cinema since the moving picture was first conceived. While a few group of others defend Johnson’s installment. However, everyone is happy that J.J. Abrams returned to repair all the disgruntled parts of the Saga that many feel Rian Johnson RUINED. Read on as Rian Johnson DROPS F-Bombs…
CelebNMovies247.com has the latest from Rian Johnson who was out promoting his newest film, Knives Out, at a recent live event.
During the junket, Rian Johnson clapped back at the Last Jedi haters simply due to its diversity.
The director straight out dropped some F-bombs when speaking about it.
Take a look at his response:
If someone’s responding to diversity negatively, f–k ’em. If anyone didn’t like the movie, I’m not saying that’s why they didn’t like it… It wasn’t surprising at all to me, I grew up as a Star Wars fan. And I grew up – I was in my twenties when the prequels came out and this whole idea that it’s all been sunshine and roses and suddenly everybody’s yelling at each other is baffling to me.
Over the past couple years the film’s director, Rian Johnson, has been surprisingly restrained and professional when defending The Last Jedi. There was plenty of legitimate fan-criticism and toxic Star Wars trolls, but now he has something to say.
It appears that he is no longer having a diplomatic manner when speaking about the Last Jedi criticism, saying:
And I feel like people care deeply about Star Wars, and every single person has a slightly different version of what they think Star Wars is. And so much of the fun of it is arguing about it. Since we were kids, right? On the playground, you’re yelling at your friends about who would win in a fight… It’s part and parcel about the passion of being a Star Wars fan.
