CelebnMovies247.com reports that since the Disney/Fox merger, there were questions about exactly what would become of Deadpool.

Well it appears, that Ryan Reynolds and Marvel boss Kevin Feige have previously alleviated worries in stating that Deadpool will be keeping his R-rating when he next returns in Deadpool 3. Yes, that means the third movie would fray from Disney-friendly PG-13 rating like it should.

However, when asked by Variety’s Marc Malkin how the script for the new movie was going, Reynolds gave a small update, saying, “It’s coming along.”

Prior to that, Reynolds was asked by Malkin to tell him “everything about his appearance in the Doctor Strange movie.”

Reynolds laughed and after calling the question the “least covert trap,” he’d ever seen, went on to comment on the thing he believes he shouldn’t comment on.

He said:

I guess I’m not really supposed to say anything about that, but I’m really not in the movie. I could be an unreliable narrator, but I promise you I’m not in the movie.

Many fans have called out Reynolds as “pulling a Garfield,” comparing his jokey dismissal as the kind of lie Andrew Garfield spent months telling about his appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Whether Reynolds is telling the truth or not is something everyone will have to make their own mind up about.
