Scream 5 Has Multiple Killers + Different Ghostface Masks!
Horror fans were overjoyed to hear the iconic slasher franchise Scream was returning with a fifth installment.
Not only that, but the main cast from the original films is also returning for another round of Ghostface killings.
Now, we are hearing RJ Torbert, who was the one responsible for naming the main killer of the series Ghostface, recently dropped an important hint that Scream 5 will feature multiple killers.
The Scream franchise has been known to have two killers in each of the films, but this time Scream 5 is upping the ante with multiple killers and masks. Read on…
CelebnMovies247.com reports Torbert’s mention of a “main killer” clearly implies there will be more one than one character in Scream 5 with murderous intent.
What RJ Torbert had to say about Scream 5 multiple killers and multiple Ghostface masks.
He said:
There’s been a rumor going around that the ultra-white mask is involved… What I will tell you is that the killer, the main killer, will not have the ultra-white mask. There’s something else involved, and it’s not the white mask!
While most slasher films have a main historical and folklore style killer, the Scream franchise continues to push the envelope featuring multiple killers.
Scream Franchise History:
In all of the Scream movies, the lead heroine Sidney Prescott spent the entire movie trying to guess the identity of the Ghostface killer.
She finds out in the end that the murders around her were carried out by the combined actions of Billy Loomis and Stu Macher. In Scream 2, the killers were Mickey Altieri, and the mother of Billy, Debbie Loomis.
Scream 3 featured one killer, her brother, and the mastermind behind the first two rounds of killers. But in Scream 4 the franchise brought the trend back of having two murderers with Sydney’s niece Jill Roberts wanting the spotlight with her kill partner Charlie Walker, a horror movie buff.
Scream 5 is already filming and it appears fans are going to be shocked since the franchise is once again outdoing itself.
This week, Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers character can be seen on the set of Scream 5, surrounded by crew members who are wearing face masks and face guards.
