What do you think about Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan taking over and replacing Henry Cavill as Superman, but as Val-Zod?
Well, that is what is being talked about on Instagram and there is some artwork to go with it. We have two better MCU superheroes for Jordan and it’s NOT the Man of Steel, no it’s better. Continue on for more on the Michael B. Jordan Superman idea…
CelebNMovies247.com has the latest fan art from Instagram with Michael B. Jordan becoming Earth-Two’s Val-Zod instead of Kal-El.
Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently uncertain, but bringing in another Kryptonian into the DC Extended Universe could be a way of keeping the Superman mantle alive on the big screen.
We have one problem. Michael B. Jordan took on the role as the Human Torch in The Fantastic Four reboot and he sucked as that character. No offense, but changing the dynamic of a superhero isn’t always smart.
Take for instance Captin Marvel. The original Captin Marvel was a man named Mar-Vell, but when the MCU wanted to make it into a movie they choose to make Captin Marvel a woman. It had a lot to do with the success of the DCU’s Wonder Woman. The movie did what it was supposed to, but many fans still haven’t watched the film.
As for the Val-Zod artwork – it some fan art from Instagram user “jscomicart” giving Michael B. Jordan Val-Zod’s white chest emblem and cape instead of Henry Cavill’s signature red and blue Superman outfit from Man of Steel
Take a look at the fan art of Michael B. Jordan as the Val-Zod version of Superman (above).
Would you like to see Michael B. Jordan take on the DCUs Superman role after Henry Cavill?
Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. We are fans of Cavill as the Man of Steel in the DCU.
We feel that Jordan should stat in the Marvel Universe. They should find Jordan his own superhero.
There is also Isaiah Bradley (Chronologically the first Captain America)…
…or another favorite, Night Thrasher (Created to lead the New Warriors and essentially the TRUE Marvel copy of Batman.)
Justice League is now available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
