We have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and now here it is for you to see.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will wrap up the 9th and final installment of the Skywalker saga that has spanned over four decades of our lives, that is for those of us who were only 11 years old when Star Wars first came out.

The Star Wars franchise has come a long way over the years which kicked off with Luke Sykewalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo in 1977 beginning with episodes 4, 5 and 6.

Then almost twenty years latter George Lucas took us back to the beginning with Anakin Skywalker, a slave on Tatooine, who ended up becoming the infamous Darth Vader. Anakin ended up learning about the force from Obi-Wan Kenobi, (who will now have his own film on Disney + in 2020). We were also introduced to Padmé Amidala who falls in love with Anakin and gives birth to Luke and Leia Skywalker. She ends up dying of a broken heart.

Fastforward to 2015 as Disney and LucasFilm released the 7th installment Star Wars: The Force Awakens followed by 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and now 2019’s final installment, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
