CelebNMovies247.com are huge fans of the Star Wars movies since we started watching them since we were a little boy and still remember that first day venturing to the movies with our dad to go to a galaxy far far away.
Star Wars was Cowboys and bandits in space, this is why we love Jon Favreau 2011 Cowboys & Aliens movie, and Disney’s John Carter, both films were genus, but they suffered the fate of jaded critics. both films deserve sequels, but so far Hollywood would rather recycle films from the 80s.
Getting back to the Star Wars Universe, here is the latest discoveries we have learned. We all know that Rian Johnson has removed himself from Star Wars IX, and that J.J. Abrams will be back in the drivers seat for the final installment of the Skywalker saga. Disney and LucasFilm has signed off to go far far away in another universe expanding the Star Wars Universe with their Star Wars Story movies, another trilogy that will not include the Skywalker franchise.
So far, Disney and Lucasfilm have stuck with the new main trilogy connected to the original films plus a pair of standalones, including this year’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, plans are in place to introduce new stories set in the wider universe. New projects include a series of feature films developed by Game of Thrones showrunners Benioff and Weiss as well as a live-action TV series from Iron Man director Jon Favreau.

Each year Disney and Lucasfilm has aligned the Star Wars story films – All standalone s built around Star Wars favorite characters. We’ve seen How it all began with Rogue One, and this year Han Solo gets his own origin film. However, there have been talks about other famed characters getting their own Star Wars story origin movie, which includes; Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Jabba the Hutt.

Boba Fett or Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Star Wars Story – May 29, 2020 (Rumored)
A standalone movie focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi has been rumored for a long time, and it sounds like it’s finally happening. Stephen Daldry (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close) is in early talks to direct. Ewan McGregor will reprise his role as the Jedi Master, but the actor has said in the past that he’d be happy to return for another movie.

Simon Kinberg will direct a Logan’s Run reboot is word that he’s “currently writing a forthcoming Star Wars movie.” Kinberg is no stranger to the Star Wars universe, having helped bring the Star Wars Rebels animated series into existence. Signs are pointing to Kinberg is secretly working on the long awaited Boba Fett movie.
