We previously reported that Sylvester Stallone was working on Rambo 5, but we have the official title and some more details on the upcoming film.

CelebNMovies247.com reports that Sylvester Stallone has been keeping his fans up to date while working on Rambo 5.

This time around we catch up with Vietnam Vet turned one-man army John Rambo in his later years. Sylvester Stallone fans first were introduced to John Rambo in the 1982 film Rambo First Blood. He returned to the screen in 1985 in Rambo: First Blood Part II, then Rambo III in 88. Followed by Rambo in 2008 20 years later.

John is returning to the screen yet 10 years later in Rambo V: Last Blood, but this time we find him “going up against a Mexican cartel in what’s reported to be his last adventure.” Rambo 5 is said to (presumably) be the final entry in the series.

The Adrian Grunberg (Sense8, Narcos + Get The Gringo) directed movie stars Paz Vega, Sylvester Stallone, Louis Mandylor and more.

When Is The Rambo 5 Release Date?

Rambo V: Last Blood has landed the prime release date of September 20, 2019.
The film wrapped at the end of 2018 followed by a very thankful Sylvester Stallone on social media.

Stallone final installment o Rambo V: Last Blood will arrive two weeks after the highly anticipated IT: Chapter 2 and The Goldfinch. A week after the release there will be an untitled Blumhouse project released which we believe is Annable Comes Home.

What Will Rambo 5 Be Rated?

There isn’t an official rating from the Motion Picture Association of America yet Staying true to the franchise we can bet the film will be R Rating. Especially since he’s going up against the cartel.

What Will Rambo 5 Be About?

Rambo goes up against a Mexican cartel in what’s reported to be his last adventure.

John Rambo’s mission into Mexico, to recover Gabriella, the daughter of a friend who went to the country of her birth in order to try and find her father. He left her as a child, and the pull of locating him is strong for Gabriella, but Rambo and her grandmother don’t approve of the idea, which is eventually proven to be a valid fear, as she’s kidnapped by a drug cartel during her trip.

Gabriella wants to go to Mexico to see her father who deserted her many years ago. Rambo and Gabriella’s grandmother are very much against this… “ I just want to ask him why he left us…” She says and begins her journey. #rambo5
