Taika Waititi Unsure Where ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ Fits Into MCU Timeline!

That is a bit interesting, we previously reported that Thor 4 was in development. Now the script is done and now Taika Waititi will find the right timeline to place ‘Thor: Love And Thunder.’ Read on to get the tea spill…

CelebNMovies247.com has learned that Taika Waititi has been doing the press for his newest movie, JoJo Rabbit. Instead of a movie about an imaginary friend who happens to be Hitler, the director has a lot to say about Thor.

Instead of talking about his new Hitler movie, Taika Waititi was way more interested in talking about his upcoming MCU movie ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ which speaks loud volumes of what he thinks of JoJo Rabbit.

Waititi told them that he has now finished a draft for his script. But given the current timeline in the MCU, he doesn’t know where it sits.

Taika said to Yahoo:

This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel. Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place?

Now here is where the question of timeline comes in.

If you recall, Avengers: Endgame started off in 2018. But then it took a jump and landed in 2023. In between that time, many people in the universe were missing. Now we know that Thor was not one of them, but what does that mean for ‘Thor: Love And Thunder’?

No of us want to see Thor still fat and grow his hair back out. Maybe the film could make of joke about it, but would that work? Knowing Waititi wit, he will surely figure it out.

Black Widow will back up a bit. And Eternals will back up a lot of bits. It’s rumored that the former will feature something from the MCU’s modern day. And while Eternals will deal with a plot from thousands of years ago, they will crash their course with heroes from today. There is also Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, but there is no knowing where that starts and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, might just jump all over the place. So, this is a good question that Taika Waititi will have to figure out for Thor 4. The movie is set to hit theaters on Nov 5, 2021.

Let’s not forget that Ant-Man 3 is said to be a bridge for the MCU to introduce the new Avengers, so somehow this will all work with the twisted minds and Marvel.
